This document addresses most, but not all issues that a community must understand and have prepared for when applying for Transportation Enhancement funds
Note: Transportation Enhancement (TE) activities must benefit the traveling public and help communities to increase transportation choices and access, enhance the built and natural environment, and provide a sense of place.
All Transportation Enhancement Projects must meet the following two requirements:
There will be NO call for projects in 2011. Allocations decisions regarding Federal enchancement funding are on hold pending Congressional action on surface transportation program reauthorization
