Mission Statement: The Signing Section's mission is to create and design quality signing plans and policies for constructing safe and efficient sign systems along NC roadways that provide guidance, information, and warning to the public. The section develops standards for statewide use as well as special sign designs for specific highway applications and is responsible for the Statewide Logo, TODS, and Ag-Tourism Signing Programs.
