Rockingham County Comprehensive Transportation Plan Study
The Rockingham County Comprehensive
Transportation Plan is a joint effort between
Rockingham County, the Piedmont Triad Rural
Planning Organization, and the NCDOT –
Transportation Planning Branch.
The Rockingham County CTP was adopted by the
City of Eden on February 27, 2010, by the Town
of Madison on February 11, 2010, by the Town of
Mayodan on February 8, 2010, by the City of
Reidsville on May 5, 2010, by the Town of
Stoneville on February 2, 2010, and the Town of
Wentworth on April 6, 2010. The Rockingham
County Commissioners unanimously adopted the
Rockingham County CTP on May 10, 2010.
The Rockingham County CTP was endorsed by the
Piedmont Triad Rural Planning Organization on
August 18, 2010. The North Carolina Board
of Transportation mutually adopted the
Rockingham County CTP on September 2, 2010.
