		Edgecombe County Comprehensive Transportation Plan Study The Edgecombe County Plan is a joint effort between Edgecombe County, Upper Coastal Plain RPO and NCDOT. This plan will create an updated plan for Edgecombe County. Initial meetings have begun to start the study. The product of the study will be a Comprehensive Transportation Plan for Edgecombe County excluding the Rocky Mount Metropolitan Area Boundary. The Town of Whitakers Plan is a joint effort between the Town of Whitakers, Upper Coastal Plain RPO and NCDOT. This plan was created in conjunction with the Edgecombe County Plan. Both CTP plans have been adopted locally and by the RPO on January 13, 2010 and North Carolina Board of Transportation on March 4, 2010. This page updated February 2, 2011.
