Wilson County
Comprehensive Transportation Plan Study
This plan was a
joint effort between Wilson County the City
of Wilson, and Towns of Black Creek, Elm City,
Lucama, Saratoga, Kenly, Sims, and Stantonsburg the
Upper Coastal Plain RPO, and NCDOT. The CTP was
adopted by Wilson County on August 1, 2011, the City
of Wilson on September 15, 2011, and the Towns of
Black Creek (August 9, 2011), Elm City (August 9,
2011), Lucama (August 1, 2011), Saratoga (August 3,
2011), Kenly (September 12, 2011), Sims (August 1,
2011) and Stantonsburg (September 8, 2011). It was
endorsed by the Upper Coastal Plain RPO on September
14, 2011, and mutually adopted by NCDOT on October
7, 2011.
