The work covered by this section consists of furnishing and installing guardrail end delineation in accordance with the plans and specifications.
All materials shall meet the requirements of Division 10 shown below:
Guardrail End Delineation Article 1088-3
Guardrail end delineation shall consist of yellow reflective sheeting applied to the buffer end section of the guardrail.
The reflective sheeting unit dimensions shall be 8 inches wide and 3 feet in length unless otherwise directed by the Engineer. All reflective sheeting shall have a smooth, sealed outer surface which will display the same color both day and night. The reflective sheeting shall be applied so that there are no bubbles or wrinkles in the material and sheeting is centered and straight.
The Contractor shall use only one type of reflective sheeting throughout the project.
The quantity of guardrail end delineation to be paid for will be the actual number which have been satisfactorily furnished, installed and accepted by the Engineer.
The quantity of guardrail end delineation, measured as provided in Article 12624, will be paid for at the contract unit price each for "Guardrail End Delineation". Such price and payment will be full compensation for all work covered by this section, including but not limited to furnishing and installing guardrail end delineation.
