The work covered by this section consists of furnishing, installing, maintaining and removing temporary raised pavement markers in accordance with the plans and specification.
The provisions of Article 12502 shall be applicable to the work covered by this section.
All materials shall meet the requirements of Division 10 shown below:

The provisions of Article 12503 will be applicable to the work covered by this section.
Temporary raised pavement markers shall be installed on the non-final pavement surfaces with either epoxy, pressure sensitive adhesives or hot bitumen adhesives.
On final pavement surfaces, temporary raised pavement markers shall be installed using a pressure sensitive adhesive. When a pressure sensitive adhesive is used, a primer/sealer shall be used according to the manufacturer's specifications.
The Contractor shall be responsible for maintenance of the temporary pavement markers. Individual markers which are no longer effective due to deterioration of the reflector or shell or displacement due to traffic shall be removed and replaced by the Contractor at the contract unit price.
The quantity of temporary pavement markers to be paid for will be the actual number of pavement markers which have been satisfactorily installed and accepted by the Engineer.
The quantity of temporary raised pavement markers, measured as provided in Article 12515, will be paid for at the contract unit price each for "Temporary Raised Pavement Markers (color)". Such price and payment will be full compensation for all work covered by this section, including but not limited to furnishing, installing, and removing temporary raised pavement markers.
