Location: Bridge #21 on SR3163 over Market Street.

Item(s) of Interest:

  • Bridge in Downtown Greensboro with decorative Pedestrian rail and protective fence.
  • Design-Build Project.

Observations and Points of Discussion:

  • The fencing on the Texas Classic pedestrian rail looked good.
  • The anchor bolts were almost against the end of the expansion slots at one end of the bridge.
  • The Texas Classic rail did not have contraction joints, which has resulted in some cracking.
