| SUBJECT: | PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GIRDER STANDARDS |
Prestressed concrete girder standard drawings PCG4SM, PCG9SM, and PCG10SM have been modified to alleviate a discrepancy and an omission, highlighted as follows:
· The 200mm dimension defining the extension of the S4 bar from the end of the girder was added to Standard PCG4SM
· The bottom flange partial depth dimension in Sections A-A and B-B was adjusted to 158mm to equate the sum of the individual dimensions to the total girder height. This revision applies to both standard drawings PCG9SM and PCG10SM
These revisions should be incorporated into plans as early as practical but no later than the January 1999 letting. The revised standards are attached for your use and are available on both the SDD1 standard directories and the Structure Design Homepage.
