| SUBJECT: | METALLIZATION OF STEEL PARTS |
The Materials and Test Units has recommended a minimum thickness
of 6 mils (0.150 mm) for all exposed metallized surfaces.
The standard drawings for Armored Evazote Joints, Expansion Joint
Seals, Modular Expansion Joint Seals and Strip Seal Expansion
Joints have been revised and are available in the standard directories
or Structure Design Homepage.
The Design Manual and Project Special Provisions will be updated
at a later date.
This policy is effective with the November letting.
