SUBJECT:	PRESTRESSED GIRDERS STIRRUPS ON STRUCTURE STANDARDS

Some of the prestressed girder standards incorrectly show the S1 bars (stirrups) as # 16's and

# 5's. The correct S1 bar designations are # 4 for the U. S. customary unit and # 13 for the soft metric unit versions. The hard metric standards correctly show S1's as # 15's.
