SUBJECT:	DRILLED PIER REINFORCEMENT

Effective immediately, place the following note on or near the bill of material for drilled piers:

"The Contractors attention is called to the fact that the reinforcement for the drilled pier is detailed with one meter (three feet) of extra length."

The Design Manual will be revised at a later date.
