| SUBJECT: | CULVERT OUTLET WINGS |
For those projects for which a Culvert Hydraulic Report has already been received, consult with the Hydraulics Unit to determine if permit applications have been submitted for the culvert site. If any permit applications have been submitted, do not use tapered culvert outlet wings.
Tapered outlet wings shall be used for all new projects and those current projects for which permits are not required or have not yet been submitted.
This policy is effective immediately. The Design Manual will be revised at a later date.
