Submittals sent to the former State Bridge Management Unit will not be included in this listing until the review responsibilities of both former
units can be fully merged.

The Department’s review status of Contractor submittals, involving structural items received by this Office, is listed on the spreadsheet. The list is arranged in the order that the submittal was received by this Office and incorporates the most recent 50 calendar days.

The first column in the spreadsheet shows the date that the Resident Engineer (RE) received the submittal, if it is known to the Structure Design Unit (SDU). The second column shows the date that this Office received the submittal.

The next to last column in the spreadsheet is labeled “Status”. If the submittal has been received, but review not yet completed, the comment in this column will be “Under Review”. If the review has been completed, there will be a general response under the Status column. “Accepted” means no exceptions were taken. “Accepted as Noted”, or “Accepted as Noted – See Letter” means that there are mark-ups or letter comments, and that a resubmittal is not required. For detailed review comments, please refer to the stamped working drawings and the review letter. “Returned for Correction” is self-explanatory.

The last column is labeled “Letter Sent Date”, which is the date that the review response was sent out from this Office. Submittals that have been reviewed are normally returned or sent to the Residency and to other DOT staff (Materials and Tests Unit, Central Construction Unit, etc.). Structural Steel submittals are also sent directly to the Contractor and fabricator.

This online version of the submittal listing is updated semi-weekly, on Monday and Thursday mornings, usually by 10 AM.
