The Standard Overhang Falsework sheets will assist contractors in determining overhang falsework bracket spacing for bridges utilizing AASHTO Types III and IV girders.
Contractors may use the electronic Overhang Bracket Summary Form when they choose to utilize the instructions and procedures described on Sheet 1 of 3 of the Standard Overhang Falsework sheets.

Timber Strut spacing and matching #5 ties (Sheet 3) must be determined separately.
1. Record all required information on the Overhang Bracket Summary form per the instructions
on sheet 1 of 3 of the Standard Overhang Falsework.
2. Print the filled in form on your local workstation.
3. Submit the completed form and calculations for review and approval, email electronic submittals to
