Question:
1. Is there a sample Vertical Line Criteria input file for Configuration 1?
2. I am unable to process my Vertical Line Criteria input file for Configuration 1. What am I doing wrong?
Answer:
1. On widening projects, separate summaries are provided for the right and left sides (earthwork limits). A sample Vertical Line
Criteria input file for this purpose is now available on our web site. Click here
to go to the list of all sample input files.
2. Vertical Line Criteria Configuration 1 has been updated to the latest standards and levels. When processing the latest VL Criteria
Configuration 1, the level name of the line is automatically increment from left to right. In addition, Engineers have the option to not
draw a vertical line at the Centerline location.
In conjunction with the newly released Undercut Criteria, the Draft Tools D&C Manager can be used to cross hatch areas of
undercut and hatch areas designated as unclassified excavation of unsuitable material in the XSC file.
Also as an option, vertical line(s) can been drawn at the centerline or at an offset distance left and right of the Centerline.
Sketch for demo purpose only.
As noted in the sample input file, the actual "VL01.CRI" file needs to be included just once on the left shape cluster, left side slope.
