Create Template Overview
In general, the Create Template dialog is used to create, edit, manage and preview Roadway Templates, Components and End Conditions. All data created and modified in Template Library is stored as ITL file.

Clear :

Used to Clear (or erase) all of the points and components in the current template. |

Template Library Organizer :

Use this dialog to easily move (drag & drop) templates from one template |

library to another. This command can also be used to copy templates from |

Apply Feature Name Override :

Sets the Feature Name Override property on a group of points. |

Apply Component Name Override :
|
|
Use this dialog to set the Component Name Override property on a |
|
|
|
group of points. |

Options :
|
|
Displays Template Options dialog which allows the user to specify |
|
|
|
naming and step options for the current template. Use the Dynamic dialog |
|
|
|
to toggle these settings on/off. |

Dynamic Settings :
|
|
Use this dialog to specify Precision Input. Step locks
are overridden |
|
|
|
when snapping to an existing point or component. |
|
Template Library Report (itl File) :
|
|
Displays the Bentley Civil Report Browser to view the
available template |

Template Library Organizer Overview
Allows the user to bring in predefined templates from the Roadway Standard Template Library (NCDOT_RDY_STANDARD.itl) into the Project specific Template library (stored in ITL).
