QMS Sampling
Technician Checklist

QMS Mix Sampling Technician :
A very basic certification that ensures a technician is qualified in the
sampling, tagging and proper storage of Hot Mix Asphalt at the plant
site for later testing by certified Level I technicans. A registration
must be submitted to the Pavement Construction Section with the required
fee. After this has been processed by the Pavement Construction Section,
the local QA Supervisor will be informed. The QA Supervisor will contact
the technician to setup a time and location to go through a checklist to
assure the person(s) are able to perform the sampling process in accordance
with NCDOT specifications. |
