Review Producer/Supplier
Version 8.2 Changes
- Updated the window to assist with Department of Justice inquiries. Added a History tab for tracking ownership changes, and reformatted the latitude and longitude fields in decimal degrees to provide more accurate mapping.
Version 3.7 Changes
- Improvements were made to the Review Producer/Supplier window to prevent periodic inappropriate pop-up messages from appearing when expiring producer/suppliers or transferring their facilities. The window also will now protect the appropriate fields, disable some buttons/functions, and remove certain icons from the visible display once a producer/supplier is expired.
- The Facility Types window has been corrected to prevent the Certification Date on the General Tab and the Inspection Date on the Inspection Results Tab from being set to a future date and to ensure that the entered dates are valid.
Version 3.6 Changes
FACILITY TYPES
- A Staff Selection icon has been added to the Inspection Results tab so that users can readily select and assign an inspector to each inspection result.
- The Facility Types window has been enhanced to include fields for GIS coordinate information. Fields include Latitude, Longitude, Elevation, and Unit of Measure.
TRANSFER FACILITIES
- A correction has been made to prevent users from clicking the "Transfer" button until at least one facility has been selected for transfer.
Version 3.5 Changes
- A change has been made to the Expiration Date processing. All Producers, Suppliers, Facilities, Facility Types that are set to expire will now expire at the end of the business day on date of expiration. Previously, the expiration date was set to expire all entities at thebeginningof the date of expiration.
- A correction has been made to the Producer Supplier module when a new P/S is created, and a subsequent Facility is also created. The process has been corrected to prevent a duplicate address record from being created.
- The functionality has been enhanced to provide a warning message when users are about to expire a producer/supplier, facility, or facility type. The purpose is to warn that this action will also expire any concrete mixes that are "related" to the P/S or facility being expired.
- A correction has been made to the P/S expiration process to enable a facility to be expired without required fields being completed. This is necessary to provide for those facilities that were entered into Vendor prior to certain fields being set to "required".
- The facility type expiration functionality has been corrected to ensure that the Producer/Supplier expiration dates are also updated when the facility type expiration date has been set to "unexpired".
- New functionality has been added when a Producer/Supplier, Facility or Facility Type is unexpired and Concrete Mix Designs exist. A new window will be displayed to indicate those Concrete Mix Designs that are eligible for re-activation. The list provide the ability to activate some or all CMDs.
- A change has been made to the Producer/Supplier functionality in the form of a notification. A notification will now be sent to the Material Inspector assigned to each Facility 60 days prior to the expiration date of the facility.
- The Facility Type window functionality has been changed to remove the feature that automatically sets the expiration date to one year after the certification date. The expiration date will now always default to 12/31/2075, but can be manually updated if necessary.
- The Producer/Supplier window title has been enhanced to include the P/S name after selection is made. Additionally, multiple P/S windows can now be opened from the Functions menu, to allow viewing of multiple P/S records at the same time (using Window menu).
Version 3.3 Changes
- The Vendor menu lists have been changed to match the menu standards currently used in HiCAMS. The following change has been made:
- Producer/Supplier is now Review Producer/Supplier
- A correction has been made to the Producer/Supplier Selection window. When searching using the filter "Find P/S with no Facilities" (checkbox), the OK button was previously disabled. This has been corrected to allow the OK button to be clicked after selecting the appropriate P/S.
Version 3.2 Changes
- The window has been revised so that when the Division/Unit is selected on the Facility Tab, the Section will automatically be updated to correspond to the new Division/Unit. If the Division/Unit does not have a corresponding Section, a default value of 'None' will appear. The Material Inspector will be also updated with the default Inspector for the Section.
- Existing Facility Types may no longer be updated on the Facility Types window. This is to prevent the accidental changing of a Plant Type that may effect other parts of the application.
- Users are now permitted to change the Facility Expiration Date on the Facility Tab to a future Expiration Date. For example, if the current Facility Expiration Date is set to 02/26/2004, it may be change to 12/31/2075. All of the related Facility Types will be updated to have the revised Expiration Date.
- The window has been upgraded to permit the entry of Out of State Producers. The existing Producer fields have been renamed to "Approved Producer" for Cement, Pozzolan, and Aggregates and a new "Other Producer" field has been added. The associated Form 312 report will display the Approved Producer information if it is available. Otherwise, the Other Producer will appear. Likewise, the Query Tool as been upgraded to include the new fields for display and query.
Version 3.1 Changes
- The Materials Inspector is now defaulted on the Facilities Tab based on the M&T Division Assignments Table.
- Removed the requirement that the ZIPCode be five or nine digits when a Canadian province is selected in the State dropdown field.
- Corrected the association of Inspection Results so they would be assigned to the proper Facility instead of to the first Facility in the list.
- When a Ready-Mix Concrete Facility is expired, the associated CMDs will be expired as well.
Version 3.0 Changes
- New for Version 3.0 Created a new report called Producer/Supplier Details which is accessed using the Print icon. This report lists the Facility Name, when the Facility Expires, and any former owners, as well as the Plant Name, Plant ID, Plant Status, and Plant Expiration Date.
- Users can no longer enter the Plant Number. Facility IDs will now be assigned automatically and will default to the lowest number that has not previously been used.
- Added field for Contact Individual to Facility window.
- The following Items were REMOVED from Producer/Supplier and are now found in the Products functional listing.

Version 2.7 Changes
- The Vendor application will no longer allow a Facility to remain active if all of its associated Facility Typesare expired.
- The Vendor application will no longer allow a Producer/Supplier to remain active if all of its associated Facilities are expired.
- Authorized users can now move Facilities from one Producer/Supplier to another with the click of a button. This functionality was provided primarily for "buyout" situations.
- Material Inspector on the Facilities tab of the Producer/Supplier window is now a required field.
Version 2.6 Changes
- Address types have been restricted to Main Office and Branch Office.
- Only one instance of Main Office is allowed per Producer/Supplier.
- At least one Address is required per Producer/Supplier.
- At least one Facility is required per Producer/Supplier.
- At least one Facility Type is required per Facility.
- When expiring a Facility or Facility Type, all fields except Expiration Dateare protected.
- Facility Type IDs appearing across the bottom of the Facilities tab are removed when a new Producer/Supplier is inserted.
- When expiring a Facility, all Facility Types associated with the Facility will be expired and will automatically receive the same Expiration Date as entered on the Facility.
- When revoking or expiring a Facility Type, a Comment is required.
- The Add Facility Types button will remain available unless the associated Facility is expired.

- The Producer/Supplier Selection window has been modified to allow for searches by Plant ID. Also, searching with %20% will find all plants with a 20 in them.
- When creating a new Producer/Supplier within the DOH Vendor system, a list of existing Producer/Suppliers with similar names will be displayed. Use this list to verify that a duplicate record is not being created.
Version 2.5 Changes
- Expiration hierarchy has been implemented for Producer/Supplier. If the Producer/Supplier is expired, Facilities and Facility Types are expired. To unexpire, reset the expiration date to the future at the Producer/Supplier level and all Facilities and Facility Types become Active again. If a Producer/Supplier or Facility is expired by a user and the system automatically expires additional items in the chain, the expiration dates of the automatically expired records are set to the same expiration date as the item expired by the user.
- It is no longer possible to enter an expiration date on the Producer/Suppliers window that occurs after that of the Producer Supplier. Likewise, a Facility Type expiration date that occurs after that of its related Facility may not be entered.
- A comment must be entered whenever a Facility Type's Active status is revoked.
- Expired the following statuses: Pending, Failed, and Inactive. The valid selections that remain are Active, Revoked, and Expired. Choosing a status of Expired or Revokedwill set the expiration date to the current date. To reactivate the Facility Type, simply reset the expiration date in to the future.
- Removed the Approved checkbox on the facility type response window for Producer/Supplier.
Version 2.4 Changes
- When you process civil rights related certification, Ownership % and Ethnicity are required.
- If you make changes on the Enrollment window, click X to exit without saving, then click yes, the window will close.
- The choices in the drop down box in the Payment Form column on the Enrollment window no longer appear with an incorrect font.
- The Addr prefix has been removed from each of these fields on the DOH Vendor query: "Company, City", "Company, State", "Company, Street", "Company, Zip", "Home, City", "Home, State", "Home, Street", and "Home, Zip"
Version 2.3 Changes
- The Producer/Supplier Selection window displays producer/suppliers even if there is no corresponding facility type.
- A valid Inspector must be selected before entering inspection results.
- The DOH Vendor System no longer allows %Ownership of firms to total less than 100%.
- The title of the window General Product Categories now displays the appropriate one when opening the following windows: M&T Products , Signing & Traffic Products , Utilities Products , or All Products .
- Only active staff personnel appear on the Technician Selectionwindow.
- You can now create a technician without a pre-existing certification.
- You can enter test scores only if the Attended flag is set.

Version 2.2 Changes
- You can now access the DOH Vendor Systemat all times from HiCAMS without closing active HiCAMSwindows.

- CON525, CON530, CON535, CON540, MAT130 and re-certification classes for MAT210, MAT230, MAT380, MAT400, MAT100, MAT110 now exist.
- A technician's certification status is now set to "Inactive" when their certification expires.
- There is a Browse icon for Logo on the Certificationswindow.
- You cannot enter future dates in the Date Fee Received on the Enrollmentwindow.

- The format of Test Date is now 'mm/dd/yyyy' instead of 'yyyymmdd' and the PCF field on the General Products window and the Test Results tab is left justified for all M&T ABC Unit Weightproducts.
- The bottom portion of the Technician Selection window is bigger to show more information.
- Mortar Strength Test Date, Mortar Strength Lab Number, Soundness Test Date, and Soundness Test Lab Number now appear as query selection criteria on the Fine Aggregatequery tool instead of Test Date and Lab Number .
- LA Test Date, LA Lab Number, Soundness Test Date, and Soundness Test Lab Number now appear as query selection criteria on the Coarse Aggregate query tool instead of Test Date and Lab Number.
Version 2.1 Changes
- The Producer/Supplier functionality now includes maintenance of Producers/Suppliers, Products, and Facilities.
