A correction has been made to truncate the Notification message that is sent when a student is enrolled/unenrolled.
A change has been made to the row focus on the Grant Certifications window to ensure that the student selected in the Review Class Enrollment window is highlighted when the Grant Certifications window is displayed (after the Grant button is clicked).
The Pass/Fail Letters have been enhanced to provide additional flexibility. When the Letter icon is clicked, a window will display to allow the selection of the proper signature to print on the letter.
A change has been made to the Class Enrollment functionality to protect the Payment Method and Fee Received Date fields when a course has been set up with no fee.
The Print Signature window has been enhanced to display a checkbox for users to indicate whether or not actual test scores will print on the letter. If the checkbox is left blank, either Pass or Fail text will print in lieu of the actual test score.
The Priority column has been moved to provide instructors with better visibility to student registration priority.
This window has also been enhanced to send a notification (to the appropriate registrar) when an instructor assigns a student a seat in a class. Once the Enrollment checkbox is checked on each record, a Send Notification window will display listing the class name, class date(s) and student name. Additionally, when a student is removed from the enrolled status, a notification will be sent. This will provide the person responsible for registering technicians the visibility needed to manage techncians' certification expirations, etc.
An update was made to the Enrollment window to ensure that when the Payment Method field is selected, that the Fee Received field is also completed (and vice-versa) prior to the window being closed.
The Enrollment window is used by class instructors to select which registered students will be given seats in the class, to record test scores, and to grant certifications to those students who have passed the class and meet all other certification requirements. This window has been changed to remove the registration portion, as this functionality is now performed in a separate window.
The Enrollment window Print functionality (print icon on the toolbar) has been enhanced to reformat the report to more closely match the Standard Report formatting.
The Pass/Fail Letter content has been updated to replace the actual test scores with the appropriate text (Pass, Fail, or Incomplete). Only authorized users can access this button. When the Pass/Fail Letter button is clicked, a letter will be printed for each student.
If a fee is required (indicated when the course was set up - now viewable in the Class tab of the window) for the course, the date received and method of payment must be entered prior to performing the Grant Certification process.
If a student is indicated as attending the class (checkbox), the student's test score is required to be entered.
Comments are now available for each student in the lower portion of the window next to the test information.
If the student is exempt from testing, this can be indicated on the lower portion of the window to override this requirement for certification.
If student did not complete the course, an Incomplete indicator is available to designate and track this status.
The Pass/Fail Letters can be previewed prior to printing, to allow the selection of specific letter(s) or all available letters to be printed.
Functionality for printing Certifications from the Enrollment window has been updated. When the course has been completed, the instructor will selectthe Grant/Print Certification button to begin the certification process. The window will list all students who attended the class and provide their certification status. This window can be further filtered by the certification status, if necessary. The instructor will click the Grant button to process those students who have successfully completed the course. To print the certificates, the Print button will be selected.
The Printed column will display a check mark to indicate the certificate has been printed. Certificates can be re-printed, if necessary.
When a certification requiring an Apprenticeship period or On the Job training program is granted, the certification may be granted in a Pending status. Once the Apprenticeship or OJT program has been completed, the Apprenticeship/OJT information must be entered on this tab and the certification status must be manually changed to Active.
Many different types of certifications can be granted from the Enrollment window in a single process. The certification granted for each student will be determined by the Certification specified when the student was registered for the class.
The Certification Date field will default to the class end date, but can be updated by authorized users.
When the Grant Certifications button is clicked, student Prerequisites will be reviewed prior to granting Certifications. If any prerequisites have not been fulfilled the Certification process will be prohibited for those students. Examples of prerequisites include (but not limited to):
The security access to the Enrollment window has been revised to allow authorized users to make changes regardless of the Class Status or Start/End dates.Version 3.1 Changes
Name order for labels printed from the Enrollment window is now (First Name) (Middle Initial) (Last Name). No commas are used.
A "New Staff" button has been added to the Technician Selection window that becomes available when searching for a staff member in the Enrollment window.
Any active staff member can now be enrolled in a class, regardless of whether or not they already hold a Certification.
Added a Print Label button. The label size must be selected by the user.
Only Active classes will appear in the Class Selection window.
When adding Technicians to a class, the Enrolled checkbox will not default as Active. This box will be checked once users are notified that they have been selected for a seat in the class.
When adding Technicians to a class, the Date Fee Received field will not be required until after the Enrolled box has been checked.
Once the Attended box has been checked, at least one Test Score must be entered before a Save action can be performed.
After Granting Certifications, the user will be prompted to Print Certifications.

When Printing Certifications from the Grant Certifications window, the user will be able to choose a printer.
When choosing the Print/Export Summary option from the Grant Certifications window, the user will be able to choose a printer to print to, or a local path and filename to export to.
When using the Grant Certifications and Print Certificates function, the user will not be able to print a Certificate until after it has been granted.
Certificates will now be printed on blank, perforated certificate forms. No pre-printed information should exist on the form before the certificate is printed. All text, seals, emblems, signature, and borders will be printed by the DOH Vendor application.
The Retest check box on the Tests tab will not be available until at least one Test Score has been entered and saved.
In the Certifications window, the Certification defaults to the current course selected.
The Grant Certifications window defaults to the school you are working in. Certifications now may have classes associated with them. Only Certifications pertaining to the class being worked on will appear in the list, with the first in the list being defaulted. There is one scenario where there are 2 Certifications granted for a single course (see MAT 400 - QA/QC Sampling and Test). If the Certification has no courses associated with it, the full list of Certifications is retrieved in the Grant Certification window.
The Print Certification window defaults the cert being worked on if accessed from the Grant Certification window (via the Enrollment window). If the certificate is printed from the Technician window, the cert selected is the one defaulted. The exception to all of this is if the internal flag is checked at the course level the Certification will not be defaulted, as printed certificates are not required.
