Version 8.1 Changes

- Modified the auto numbering of the AMD to no longer exceed three digits in the second position. The maximum number for any year can no longer exceed YY-999.
Version 8.0.2 Changes
- Corrected a problem that caused periodic skipping in the sequence of Asphalt Mix Design numbers.
- Corrected a problem that prevented sieve data from being saved on new Asphalt Mix Design records.
- Removed the #80/0.180 mm sieve from the Results tab.
- Changed Superpave sieve labels to Metric values on the Results tab.
Version 8.0.1 Changes
- Renumbered many existing low-gyration Asphalt Mix Designs that were not referenced anywhere in the system with a Spec Year 10 prefix. Contact the M&T Asphalt Lab or Pavement Construction Section for the list of those that were converted and what number they were converted to.
Version 8.0 Changes
- Modified the window to allow the user to designate the AMD Year value. Previously, the system auto-generated the year based on the current date, but the Asphalt Lab and Pavement Construction Section requested control of the year designation. Mixes beginning with the year 10 (for 2010) will fall under the new lower gyrations specifications levels. The system will continue to assign the 3-digit sequential number within the chosen AMD Year.
- The printed Asphalt Mix Design report has been adjusted to display the Asphalt Design Engineer title, staff name and signature.
Version 7.1 Changes
- Adjusted the system logic to require either an Approved Producer/Supplier or an Other Producer/Supplier for Fine Aggregate materials entered on a mix design.
- Added the field Binder Specific Gravity to the Results tab of the mix design window.
Version 7.0 Changes
- On the Results tab of the AMD & JMF windows, we’ve added the following fields: TSR, VTM-Dry, VTM-Wet, Sat, Temp-Dry, Temp-Wet, TS-Dry, TS-Wet, Rut Depth (mm).
- Modified the sort order to display in descending order (i.e., most recent to least recent).
- On the Asphalt Mix Design window, corrected a problem that caused “Approved – JMF” mixes to display as “Approved – No JMF” records when changes were made. The system will now check for JMF existence and set the AMD status appropriately.
- Changes to AMD Type will now be reflected in any associated JMFs .
- If an Asphalt Mix Design is rejected more than once, the system will now notify the appropriate personnel each time.
- If a Job Mix Formula is voided more than once, the system will now notify the appropriate personnel each time.
- At the time of creating an Asphalt Mix Design or Job Mix Formula (whether through “Insert” or “Save As” functionality), all associated Producer/Supplier facilities will be checked to ensure they aren’t expired.
- Disabled the “Save As” and “New JMF” buttons on the Asphalt Mix Design window until an eligible row for those functions has been selected.
- On the Job Mix Formula window, disabled the “Revise JMF” button until an eligible row for that function has been selected.
- Added the following fields to the set of data fields required in order to approve an Asphalt Mix Design: Binder Grade, Binder Producer, AntiStrip Product, AntiStrip Producer, Coarse & Fine Aggregate Producers, At least one Gradation result (% Passing) that is > 0, Total AC must be > 0
Version 6.0 Changes
- A print feature was added to the Selection and Details windows.
- The window has been corrected to only allow selection of materials that are not expired as of the create date of the AMD.
Version 5.8 Changes
- A change has been made to the Asphalt Mix Design window to require a Material to be entered before saving a new AMD.
- The AMD and JMF windows have been updated to provide a "None" option to the drop down menus on the following fields:
- Additives tab: Anti-Strip Product
- Coarse Aggregates tab: Material
- Fine Aggregates tab: Material
- Results tab: AC%
Version 5.7 Changes
- A correction has been made to the Asphalt Mix Design maintenance window in those circumstances where an AMD is retrieved from the Job Mix Formula window. If a change is made to an Asphalt Mix Design and the Job Mix Formula window is still open, the JMF window will be updated with the changes.
Version 5.6 Changes
- A correction was made to AMD notification message to include the AMD number (sent when an AMD is rejected).
- The spacing on the Fine and Coarse Aggregate tabs has been corrected to allow for word wrapping of long Producer Names (to prevent truncation of the second line of text).
- A correction has been made to the Material Type drop down list to disable a Material from being selected when the Material has been expired.
- A correction was made to the AMD window processing when an AMD is rejected. Previously, if the window was closed using the window close icon instead of the Close button, the flexible notification (sent to advise of a rejected AMD) was not sent. This has now been corrected to send the notification when either "close" method is used.
- A correction was made to the AMD search and maintenance windows to prevent an error message from displaying, ("There are no reports available based on the current filter criteria") that occasionally occurred when an invalid selection was made. The correction will allow the message to display only when there are actually no reports available.
Version 5.4 Changes
- Hardcoded notifications have been removed from the Create, Revise, and Void actions. Job Titles are now added through Notification Setup. Additional notifications can be added through the Flexible Notification process.

- A Trade Secret statement has been added to both the window and the Report.
- Added an edit to ensure that the total of the RAP % and Virgin % on the Results Tab equal 100% before the JMF can be set to Approved or Provisionally Approved.
- The remaining fields from the window have been added to the query selection list.
Version 5.3 Changes
- Wild cards(?, *) can now be used in JMF/AMD selection windows.
- Added AC Absorption Percent field to AMD and JMF windows, Query Tools and Reports.
- Added a new field for Anti-strip Product to the AMD/JMF windows. The drop-down is populated from a new Codes table entry for Anti-strip products. The new field has been added to the Additives Tab under the Anti-strip Additives Producer field. The Asphalt Lab Supervisor has the security to update the Code Table for Anti-strip products.
Version 5.2 Changes
- Added the Print option for inquiry users.
Version 5.1 Changes
- Changed when the system generates the new AMD number to just before Save. This should eliminate unintentional duplicate AMD numbers.
- Created an AMD Report similar to the JMF Report. It can be accessed through the Print button on the AMD Details window.
- Added the following fields from the M&T 601 form to the AMD report: Gsb, Gsa, Gse
