Version 8.2.4 Changes

• Modified the functionality to update the Theoretical and Actual Noncompliance amounts in the database on every save.

Version 8.2.2 Changes

• Added print functionality for the deficiency grid. The Report includes the information displayed on the "Deficiency" tab while the Precert status = Working. Once the Precert status = Precertified or Certified, the Print button prints the Final Letter and Attachment.

• Eliminated the Arithmetic Overflow error encountered when the Recalculate button was clicked.

• Synchronized the Theoretical & Actual NonComp amounts being displayed in the upper and lower portions of the window.

Version 8.2 Changes

• Updated the window to allow users to exclude specific items from the Final Letter Attachment when the Actual NonCompliance amount equals $0.00.

• Added two new navigation buttons to this window. The PC Notes button opens the notes entered by both the Resident Engineer office staff and the M&T staff. The PC Material button opens the main Project Certifcation window.

• Set the application to default the Deficiency Type to the most recent Acceptance Method on the Contract Bill of Materials.

• Modified the window to set the Actual Non Compliance amount equal to the Theoretical Non Compliance amount. It previously defaulted to 0.00)

• Modified the window to not require comments unless the Actual Non Compliance amount does not equal the Theoretical Non Compliance amount.

• Updated the Theoretical Non Compliance Amount calculations performed when FHWA Participation is set to NO to reflect the changes made in the window grid. Previously, the Theoretical Amount for that row was reduced to 0.00 and the total for the Theoretical Amount column in the grid was reduced by the appropriate amount, but the Theoretical Amount at the top of the window and what was displayed in Contract Details was not being updated.

• Made changes to the Final Letter to follow the M&T process. Also made cosmetic changes for better printing.

• Corrected the issue that was causing "another user has updated this record" errors in the window.

• Added code to not return deficiency rows where the line item unit price is less than zero. Also prohibited the addition of line items with a negative unit price.

Renamed for Version 8.1.1

• Changed the validation to no longer allow negative numbers to be entered in the Non Comp Quantity field.

• Changed the window action to return focus to the Deficiency tab if the user is viewing either the Activity Log or History tab when the Insert icon is clicked.

• Changed the validation process so that users are able to update multiple rows without having to Save after every row change.

• Added maintenance of the Final Letter address to the Constants table so that the addresses could be updated by user with the appropriate security.

• Added a Print Setup dialogue box to the Final Letter window.

• Made changes to the header and footer layout of the Final Letter to match exactly what is currently being used.

• Corrected the Save process in the Soils Pre-Certification module so that the name of the person setting contract record to Complete is recorded on the Activity Log tab. A random name had previously been entered.

• Disabled access to the Status Letter button if Pre-Certification Status was Precertified or Certified.

• Updated the bitmap file location for the State Seal used on the Final Letter so that it would appear on letters printed in Production.

• This module was formerly known as Pre-Certification.

New for Version 8.1

• The new Precertification functionality includes:
  • the ability to filter out Soils, Aggregate and/or Asphalt material type groups
  • the ability to print periodic Non-Compliance letters
  • the ability to send an Asphalt Pre-Certification Notification
  • the ability to send a Soils & Aggregate Pre-Certification Notification
  • the ability to specify Material Certification Shortages
  • the ability to print the Final Non-Compliance letter
  • the ability to print a Non-Compliance Theoretical Dollars letter
  • the ability to enter Final Material Shortage Notes
