GGC Summary

GGC Shear Line is used to automatically shear off the proposed cross section template at intersection. The default location to shear the proposed template is at the outside edge of the Geopak shape. A different location can be defined with the Adhoc ggc_Shear Line Config numeric value. This Criteria is called within the TMPLT Criteria file. Once the shear line graphical plan view element intersects with the cross section pattern, then the Shear Line Criteria is executed. After the shear line is drawn and labeled, then the Criteria executes a design controlled termination for that side. Normally, on each outside side of the each shape cluster users include other Criteria, such as cc01.cri (curbing), cslp01.cri (catch slope), or shld01.cri (shoulder), ldss01.cri (local design side slope), after the TMPLT Criteria. It is not desired to process these remaining Criteria files for that side after the sheared has been perform. Thus, a design controlled termination has been purposely place with the Shear Line Criteria. The earthwork subgrade line is tied to natural ground in order for the earthwork computation to be performed.
