NCDOT's Anti Litter Efforts


"Yes! Yes! We Can Stop Littering"

Program Organizational Structure.

Committee:

  • One representative from each Union County Area 2 District 7680 Rotary Clubs
  • One representative from each Rotary Interact Club in Area 2 District 7680
  • One representative from the administrative Staff of the Union County Public School System
  • One representative from the Union County Arts Council
  • Assistance Governor, Area 2 District 7680
Committee Responsibilities:
  • Develop guidelines for operating the program
  • Work with the public school staff person to establish rules and guidelines to implement the program
  • Determine the method and select the best essay for the Union County winner as submitted from the winning entry from each of the schools
  • Determine the projected cost of the program and submit a request to each Union County Rotary Club for approval and funding
  • Work with the Union County Interact Clubs to provide publicity for the program through the local media or as necessary
  • Recognize the best Interact reporter for a special award for their work ($500.00 scholarship has been provided)
  • Work with the appropriate county organization to develop a contest to design a logo that would be used on all T-shirts, jackets and trophies for the winners as necessary
  • Issue purchase orders to buy the necessary shirts, jackets, bumper stickers, and trophies
  • Work with the Rotary District 7680 for any grant money available as well as any other organization which provides grants

Business Brochure and Brochure Insert (click here to view pdf file). This link provides the front and back view (landscape format) of a two sided brochure which can be folded over in thirds. When folded properly the brochure is 8.5" tall and 3.5" wide and is intended for mailing to prospective supporters/contributors. The insert is a single page flier and is meant to fit within the brochure when folded.
